52:00 talks about not wanting to get into the Sony/Helldivers discussion, says she's been on the receiving end of people making accounts to turn things into a big deal. Says everyone has a right to say what they want and this comes with the territory of being a streamer. This is not a topic she can be unbiased at the moment because of past experiences
Says she wasn't always in a place were she couldn't establish firm boundaries, and if she wanted to talk about something or keep quiet she had to do the opposite, now she has the choice to choose to do things or make mistakes and is ok with that.
55 Wants to stay in her patch of land of twitch do the things she wants and not have an opinion on everything. Another thing she learnt is that no matter her opinion it will upset somebody, which sucks. For example if she wanted to defend herself someone would be angry about it. Mata loves having confrontations with people close to her that she loves, example Mint they are close enough they can disagree on stuff, you can be friends and not agree on everything. Says she's been a fairly private person in that if she goes through trauma she's ok with eventually sharing it. She's noticed on herself she's become more private and doesn't want to have anything online because people hang to something you said once and it's taken outta context, gives an example if she said something 8 years ago people today would say she lied today if she changed her mind today. Compares it to her dead parent. As more time passes and has less links to old stuff, not trying to erase old fans, if paths ever cross again happy to have you but it is how it is.

As a fairly big Nina fan who has been pretty filtered by her Matara content, this kind of stings even though she's completely right. Like, being mature about how her content has changed is great and that maturity is part of what I like about her. But that little kernel of parasocial attachment in the back of my brain makes this a very bittersweet thing to hear. I'm glad she's happy but something about her knowing that the old fans are being filtered out by Twitch and V-shojo stuff and not being particularly bothered by it is... man. Like, I've had conversations IN THIS THREAD about how old fans are disappearing from her chat (I think with you, actually @Punished Lurker).

It's nice to have a basic confirmation that Rosemi is, indeed, one of the good people at Niji. I think there's always been a sort of fear for many that she'd end up secretly being part of the bitchy clique, since she seems like such a genuine sweetheart and there's nothing worse than finding out someone like that is awful behind the scenes. Even the LARPers supposedly sharing secret behind the scenes gossip would always throw in "Rosemi wasn't in the clique." So it's a small victory to have that confirmed.
Especially since she's one of the few likable fighting game reps in the VTubing sphere...
