Suzuka was part of their second generation and debuted in 2018. That's pretty ancient in terms of vtubing. I think that's a pretty solid run for a talent, there aren't many people that have been vtubing that long, especially under one alias.

Yeah, kind of make sense that she would graduate after doing it for 5-6 years or so. That said, if you consider that much older NijiJP talent Chihiro (first gen, same year as utako but one month apart) graduating and immediately went as indie the day after, it does put some doubt whether Utako graduated because she's more or less done what she want in Niji, or deciding to jump to Indie to connect with other JP talent that has graduated, including Gundou Mirei/Dokuga Chimai.
