The only thing that is significantly better than genshit is the combat honestly (and genshit literally has no combat apart from mashing buttons soooo) everything else is the same or worse. The amount of movement abilities you get right off the bat in a universal system not tied to area mechanics is also nice. But yeah basically a carbon copy with some minor changes.
