Who in their right mind takes a 3-5 hour commute? It should be an hour tops with traffic. I know she's in CA, so most of the commute is traffic, but come the fuck on. Even if she takes a small pay cut for something close, she would be making more just in the amount of gained free time and gas.

TBH, I remember her working in a logistics corp, and usually, those guys pay the decedent due to the demanding work, so it's really weird that her pay is that low. TBH, it sounds more like battered wife syndrome and her corp is blowing smoke up her ass.
